How to Apply
Children of Indian Workers in the Gulf Countries who wish to apply for the above reserved seats in the M.Tech programmes  and other AICTE approved programmes of the University may submit their application online through the link for Indian Citzens/NRI/Childeren of Indian Gulf Workers (CGW). Interested candidates should select the option "Childeren of Indian Gulf Workers (CGW)" under the "Special Reservation " while submitting online application by making a payment of Rs. 6000/- (Rupees Six Thousand only) online. In case they opt Dubai as their Centre for CAT Test an additional fee of Rs. 10000/- is to be remitted by them.

Applicants who have successfully registered online in the CGW Category and passed the CAT Test shall invariably bring the following documents during admision/counseling.

    • Curriculum Vitae.
    • Copies of Mark lists/transcripts of all examinations undergone.
    • Two copies of recent passport size photographs.
    • Character Certificate from the Head of Institution last studied.
    •  Employment Certificate of the Parent which is duly atested by the concerned Indian Embassy / Authorised Government Agency Or Copy of Work Permit, Account Statement of Bank in the Gulf Country and Copy of Visa which are duly attested by the concerned ndian Embassy / Authorised Government Agency
    • Copy of Passport of Parent

The following points may strictly be noted:

  • The academic year of CUSAT commences in July.
  • Those candidates who have undergone their course of study outside India shall produce an Equivalence Certificate issued from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.
  • The Equivalence Certificate is to be produced at the time of taking admission in CUSAT. More details including Application form for Equivalence Certificate can be had from http://www.aiuweb.org/evaluation/evaluation.asp. Application form for equivalence certificate is also available for download in the site http://www.cusat.nic.in under the "Downloads" menue.
  • The tuition fee for CGW candidates will be equal to that of All India Merit Seat Category Students
